EYELASH Extension FAQ's - Everything You Need To Know
What is it?
The lash treatments available at Emma Morphett Makeup Artistry are Classic Eyelash Extensions and Hybrid Eyelash Extensions.
How long does it take?
Lash extension appointments can take between 1-2 hours depending on the style you want to achieve and the density of your natural lashes. Then, infill appointments can be had every 2-3 weeks to keep them fresh. these take an hour each time.
What happens during the treatment?
If you are booked for lash extensions, I will first discuss whether you want Classic Individual lashes or Hybrid lashes. Classics are the more natural option and consist of a single extension being added to each of your individual lashes. The hybrid option consists of classic individuals and cluster lashes being mixed together to create a fluffier, more dramatic lash.
How long do they last?
Lash extensions typically last around 4-5 weeks if not maintained, or infills can be scheduled every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full and finished look.
Please be aware that all timings vary dependant on each individuals lash condition and lash cycle.
Do you provide aftercare?
Yes – you will receive full aftercare advice and a comb will be provided to brush lashes daily. You can also purchase a lash cleansing kit which will help keep your lashes fresh and make them last longer.
